Webmail Basics
Webmail is a web-based email client that works with any device with a web browser. You do not need to install any additional software on your computer or tablet to use webmail.
Logging in and reading your mail
- Using your favorite web browser, navigate to https://mail.epbfi.com.
- Once the page loads, you will be greeted by the login dialog box:
- In the Username field, type in your Advanced Email Address (for example, john.appleseed@mycompany.com).
- In the Password field, type in your Advanced Email password.
- Click the Log In button to log in.
- Your Inbox should now appear on the screen.
- To read a message, click on the message in the top pane.
- The message will appear in the bottom pane:
Replying to mail
- To reply to a message, use the Reply button in the toolbar to reply to the sender or Reply to All to reply to everyone mentioned in the email:
Alternatively, you can move your mouse in to the bottom pane and use the Reply or Reply to All links that appear at the bottom of the message:
- You should now see the Reply screen. Compose your message:
- Use the Send, Cancel, or Save Draft buttons when you are finished composing your message:
Composing a new message
- While the Mail tab is active, click the New Message button located at the top-left corner:
- Type in the destination email address in the To: field, or click the To: button to select a person from your address book:
- Fill out a subject in the Subject field:
- Compose your message in the bottom pane.
- Use the Send, Cancel, or Save Draft buttons when you are finished composing your message:
Check for new mail
- You can check for new mail by pressing the Update button, located at the top-right corner of webmail:
